I think the Indonesian was the smokiest, the Indian the most like clay and potato skins, and the Haitian the brightest and greenest. The Indonesian and Indian seem lower base notes than the Haitian. When I wear the Haitian in classes at the gym, I find it calming and people around me really like it. Uniquely complex and long-lasting. Well worth the price. Shipping was fast. I will definitely reorder.

Excellent proof that the country of origin makes a difference. These oils come from the same plant but different countries, and could hardly be more different. My personal favorite is the Indian one with its darker color and richer scent, but all three are fabulous. The Haitian one is everything one expects from a Vetiver and the Indonesian one is somewhat in between the other two. They serve a similar purpose, but I find the Indian Vetiver heavenly.
